Angry Static coming from radio!!

The last few days I've noticed very faint static coming from my radio. It only seems to happen on one station also 100.7 fm, ipod and cd's do not do it. I have no idea why its doing this, I litsen to about 4 stations regularly and this is the only one that is giving out the static. Never use to do it before, any idea what i might be before I take it to the dealer.

^^ what he said, that might be the problem on the radiostation or the atmosphere, not the receiver...

Did you just have the windows tinted? If you use metallic tint it can interfere with the radio.

Hmm...I doubt it's the tint. I think it's just poor reception you're getting in the area. Is this consistent regardless of location?

Yea pretty consistent. I hear alot more when no music is playing and its just the Dj's talking. It's worth noting I blew a fuse 2 weeks ago and my entire dash went dead. I had it replaced and everything was working fine. This can't be related to that, right?

I know this may sound weird, but it could be the HID ballasts. Some of them tend to cause static in the radio. If you do a quick search on Google you will find out what I'm talking about.

Wierd thing today. I messed with the audio settings and turned off the setting that optimizes the sound for the driver and it went away. However now I noticed another problem. My engine is idling kind of high. It's idling right around 900 rpms. And maybe I should post this in a new thread but ill mention it here. I was taking a corner today and the fuel cut off. The engine was still running but when I put it in gear it wouldn't go anywhere, it's a 6mt btw. I had to turn off the car then turn it back on. The car was then running funny like the ecu was remapping itself. I'm thinking this is related to the high idling also. Really wierd any ideas?

the car wasn't cold though. It was warm, it was after about 25 minutes of driving and it still was at 900 rpms

I got same Issue, it only appears when hitting the gas pedal, I wanna see if there is problem with the grounding, Dealer told me they cant duplicate the problem, so I guess I gotta do my own research until they get enough complaints. I will get back to you soon.

I have the same issue with the static, it's very annoying. Last time I was at the dealership I forgot to bring this up, but a blown tweater sounds very reasonable.
