Proper iPhone 3G cable
I just switched from a Blackberry Curve to a new iPhone 3G. Unfortunately, the salesman at AT&T told me any charger that worked on a previous iPod would automatically work on the iPhone 3G. Now that I'm home and doing research, I see that's not the case...
So here's my question: is there any proper cable/adapter for the iPhone 3G that will allow complete functionality, as well as charging, without any error messages or complications, and be reliable and work predictably? From the sounds of things on this forum, the Passport is unreliable and can fry my iPhone. The CableJive doesn't allow complete functionality. And most of the low-price options still show an error message.
Can anyone help?

Just wait for iPhone OS 3 to come out because that is what apple is fixing. They are fixing the compatible issues with the accessories with iPhone 3G.

Yeah man it does work. It will work on your car dude.
You'll be able to charge your iPhone and play your music in stereo off your iPhone too.
But if you play music from like Pandora APP it will be mono sginal since the default setting for Pandora is streaming in mono and if you try stereo... well it hickups in the stream.
I'm jut worried about XYZs post above lol!
