Help battery removal?

battery removal?

how do i get the little fuse box infront out of the way to get the battery out. i've unlatched it, but it's connected at the bottom.

from pg-95 of service manual, June07 (power supply, ground & circuit elements):
Precaution for Battery Service INFOID:0000000002912448
Before disconnecting the battery, lower both the driver and passenger windows. This will prevent any interference
between the window edge and the vehicle when the door is opened/closed. During normal operation, the
window slightly raises and lowers automatically to prevent any window to vehicle interference. The automatic
window function will not work with the battery disconnected.
Precaution for Procedure without Cowl Top Cover INFOID:0000000001693086
When performing the procedure after removing cowl top cover, cover
the lower end of windshield with urethane, etc.

REMOVAL
1. Remove battery cover.
2. Remove the clips (A), and remove hoodledge cover RH (1).
3. Remove the cowl top cover (RH). Refer to EXT-21, "Removal and Installation".
4. Loosen battery terminal nuts (1), and disconnect both battery
cables from battery terminals.
CAUTION:
When disconnecting, disconnect the battery cable from the
negative terminal first.
5. Remove battery fix frame mounting nuts (2) and battery fix
frame (3).
6. Remove battery.
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
When connecting, connect the battery cable to the positive terminal first.

REMOVAL
1. Fully open hood assembly.
2. Remove front wiper arm (LH/RH) from vehicle. Refer to WW-88, "Removal and Installation".
3. Remove battery cover and brake master cylinder cover.
4. Remove hoodledge cover mounting clips and then remove hoodledge cover (LH/RH) and cowl top cover
seal (LH/RH).
5. Remove cowl top seal.
6. Remove cowl top cover mounting clips.
7. Plastic pawl (A) is pull up and cowl top cover RH (2) is removed
ahead of vehicles.
8. Plastic pawl (B) is push down and cowl top cover LH (1) is
removed ahead of vehicles.
9. Remove the following parts after removing cowl top cover.
• Front fender cover (LH/RH).
• EPT sealer

PG-97
BATTERY TERMINAL WITH FUSIBLE LINK -- REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
2. Remove cover of battery positive terminal.
3. Remove harness mounting nuts (1) to disconnect harness connector
(2).
4. Remove fusible link holder mounting nut (3) to disconnect battery
terminal with fusible link (4).

Yes, it might be easier to use a hacksaw to make room to change out the battery. Hopefully, you can find a way to remove the relays/fuse block, which seems more logical. It seems other readers have changed out the battery already, so perhaps we will get more insight on the process.

oh sorry needed to update

i did take out my battery and it did consist of


and a couple more above (closer to the windshield) then that piece (assuming it's the cowl top ) came off pretty easily, and the battery was then taken out

but i need to thank you for getting me started
