integrating g35 navi into 37?

So, I was wondering if anoyne has any experience or input on integrating a g35 navigation into a g37?
From the4 looks of things, the dash related stuff seems like the same size, color, style, etc.

But apparently the wiring is different and harness different etc. I'd be curious if anyone has done it, or knows how it'd be done.

Any input is appreciated

Pics of the g35 navi unit are below:
Also, I think it's the same, here are the pics of the navi unit.

why use a out-dated nav when you can just buy a G with it

seems like a hard task to tackle... wasn't the g35 nav pop up? just get a g37 with nav if you want it... it's too much trouble to ask for.

i'm pretty sure the g35 sedan parts are teh same as the g37's. from the looks of the pictures, it should be pretty simple because you have all the piggybacks. I added navi to my nonnavi g35 when i had it. I didnt have any piggybacks so i had to make my own harness. This should be a piece of cake. Just get yourself a factory service manual and start connecting the wires.

Can you please explain to me what you mean by piggybacks/harness exactly?

Also, one question I had, is where is the actual gps receiver located? Is it built into the screen, (so its in the pics) or is it supposed to be a seperate wire that connects to it, which it reads from?

Thanks again!

I think the guy is talking about a 2007 G35 sedan navigation integrating into a 2008+ G37 coupe. The units are one and the same.

uh...i think you need to do a lot more research. The antenna is a separate thing but you already have it. It's the little black box that's connected to your headunit in the first pic. Piggyback is the cut wires that they provided for you. It has the connectors already, so its easy to just connect the wires.

yeah now that he put up pics i can see he was talkin about an 07 sedan. He didnt really make that clear in the orig post.

Its the same parts, so everything should fit fine. Its prob all plug n play too, but i really have no idea about that.
