haven't heard it myself, but my old college roommate is a host for one of the radio shows on the playboy channel. she'll appreciate you listening.

AREA station 80 FTW!
sirius/directed electronics has been going downhill quickly over the past 5 years or so. after just getting out of the industry (car audio/electronics) i wouldnt be surprised if someone buys out sirius/xm like others said earlier in the thread. time will tell

Area & BPM (80 & 81) are the only ones I really listen to on there, I was about to call them to renew, my 3 month subscription expired right around when the G went into hibernation so I didn't bother then

Love the Dead. But I may wait...

The iPod sounds better, but my music mix is not as broad as the XM/Sirius mix.

Well, after my free trial lapsed I got a call from XM/Sirius offering a one-year subscription for half-price. It seemed worth the gamble that there will be broadcasts for the next year. BTW, spa, reggae, grateful dead, two classical, three jazz stations, coffee house, and several more rock stations provide plenty for my musical tastes, although the compressed sound of XM is noticeable when I play the iPod instead.

The only catch to the new offer is that unless I cancel at the end of the year, XM will automatically renew my subscription at the full price. I've already marked the calendar.

XM/SIRIUS is getting desperate. They called me twice in the same day trying to get me to sign up... I think they are going under
