Beep sound when you lock your car
I just got my seat bottom replaced ($1500 job) for the bubbling issue.
Anyway, when I got my car back, it doesn't make the little beeping noise now when I lock my car using the button on the door handle (not the key fob). I like having that little auditory confirmation that I've locked my car.
Does anyone know how to get that sound back?

Thats to turn the horn beep on when you use the fob to lock and unlock the car.
After I had my seat replaced, I didn't have the "beep" when I used the button on the outside of the car. To this day, I still dont have it. The dealership doesnt know how to turn it on, or thats what they told me.

fastg37, your method worked perfectly.
And to all the others, why is it such a huge deal if I ask a simple question that can be easily answered by someone on the board? Why spend 15 minutes reading my manual when I can post in 10 seconds and just check back when I have time and have the exact answer I want?
The time it took you guys to all tell me to RTMFM, you could've just answered the question... Thanks again.

Under warranty. If it happens again, I'll get it replaced before 1 year/12k miles, and then never again will I worry about it. It's annoying but not that big of a deal.
And good to know everyone isn't so serious. Happy Friday
