Hey guys.

My G doesn't have the Navigation. I tried playing my 16G iTouch videos on the screen with the AV cables but it ONLY SHOWS ON SCREEN SOMETIMES!? Either the video shows on screen, or the screen stays black when music from the iTouch is playing.

Has anyone have the same problem? I want to do the video H@(I< so I can be a straight up baller and play videos while driving but its useless if it only shows sometimes.
Can anyone help me out?

I've heard older gen iPod video classic will work w/o problems.
Also, should the screen stay blank like that?
BTW, I bought the AV cables on eBay and it works perfectly on my TV.

From what I understand, they only work if the vehicle is in park(nuetral) and has the e-brake on.

Could this be why it is intermittent for you?

Wow you've been on the forums this long and had a G this long and are just finding out the video will only play while the car is parked?? Yeah, sucks. There are advanced wiring methods around this but we don't talk about it on the forums. You can find out the methods on your own if you wish. Just Google it.

LOL.

No dude. I am well aware of the hand brake-video off safety issue. That's why I mentioned "video H@(I<" in my original post.
I tried it out in my garage while my car was parked, shifter on neutral and hand brakes up. And the video would only play intermittently as in, it won't play, then I'll stop and play again and voila! video, this is all while the HANDBRAKES are UP.

Don't you have better things to do then sit in your garage watching videos in your car while parked with the e-brake on
