Ipod Hookup For Iphone?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone has been able to find a Iphone compatible auxiliary hookup for the g37. I checked around for a possible nismo or factory part but came up with no luck.

just let me know

Thanks in advance for any tips =)

P.S. It does play music, just no charge capability.

Welcome to the forums... Most people are using this and have had success with it.

I plan on picking up one myself soon.

First of all, there are A LOT of threads on this topic.

This thread might interest you: iPod 4th Gen

Secondly, the iPod 4th Gen and the Apple iPhone 3G have the same problems charging with our car, and use the same adapter. I had this problem before I bought what Blackjack suggested: http://store.apple.com/us/product/TS...S-SHOP-Froogle

That item works good, I actually picked it up at my local Apple store. It fixes both the iPod Nano 4th Gen and the iPhone 3G charging issues. I highly recommend that product!

yes that is. The iphone is a bit bigger i tried to have it in but the positioning is awkward so it loosens the connection

^^ hmm, well another thing you could do is pull it out of the glove box and stick it into the cup holders. If you look at the way the edge of the glove box is formed (closest to the driver side and cupholders, so that left corner) it has a little groove, I'm guessing that groove is so you can pull the ipod end of the cord out and stick it on your lap or into the cup holders without closing the lid of the arm rest onto the cord. Just a thought, good luck!

If you have a silicone case for your iphone, you can set it right on top the cup holders and it wont slide. You can get these pretty cheap most places. Monoprice has them for like $2. Check the link at bottom.

Otherwise you have to get creative with how you place the phone in the center console.
