Is there a way to turn the engine off with out having the radio to turn off as well?

You just read my mind, I've always wanted to know.

It's really annoying when you're enjoying music and you have to wait for a bit. Turn off the car, turn the music back on, wait for the car to READ MP3 CD, just too inconvenient.

what are you trying to do? you can turn on the car without starting the engine with the radio on... if you just turn on accessories... but i don't think there's a way to just cut the engine and not the radio...

i'm pretty sure this works -

when you turn off the car, hit the button twice real quick. it will go into 'accessory' mode and the radio will still be playing.

Yes, hitting the button twice very quickly works!

Does it also work if you're playing an MP3 CD?

Put your foot on the brake, press the on/off button twice very quickly, engine will shut off and music will continue uninterrupted. Works for all sources.

This also works if you're in the middle of a phone call and you're using the Bluetooth device. Just hit the on/off button twice very quickly, and the engine stops but you can continue your call. I do it all the time!!

Brake isn't necessary

Yeah, true. I do this all the time. Found this out by accident after having the car for a month.

I was wondering this too. I always have to sit in my car while talking on the phone.
