I think overall most people are pleased with the channel changes. Now we just need to hope that Sirius\XM can succeed with all the debt they have accumulated. I wouldn't be buying any lifetime subscriptions at this point. What do you see as the future bfranks?

Not really sure. I bought two lifetime subscriptions several years ago so I'm hoping they make it .
As you mentioned they have a massive amount of debt to deal with, and now they have a shareholder revolt on their hands. All that aside, they still have to deal with how to integrate two completely different methods of broadcasting without pissing off the consumer too much (forced upgrades).
On the bright side, Q3 results look good with a hefty increase in new listeners. It's a good start, but there is a long way to go.

i bought a full year's subscription of both XM and Nav Traffic about a year ago after the inital 3 months was up. now that the sh|t's hitting the fan for so many companies, i think i'll drop down to quarterly renewals.

My subscription renews the middle of Dec. I am trying to decide what to do at this point. As I said I am switching the other car and office to XM to get it down to subscribing to only one service.

All my channels were left intact except for one. I now have Area 33, no it is Area 38, oh no, ok, Area! Which is a replacement for the Trance XM channel that sucked anyway. I am happy with the new channel lineup, but if they increase the prices I will drop them like a bad habit.

Yeah, that is Area 38 from Sirius. I hope they still have the Paul Okenfold specials on Saturday nights. That show is just plain awesome. My wife's Bimmer has Sirius and I would take her car for a spin just to listen to that show.
