Driver's window acting wonky

So before I get into it I've done almost everything to solve this mystery.
Followed the instruction for setting the windows, disconnected the battery etc...

I open the driver side window, then when I go to close it the window goes all the way up and then it automatically goes half way down. Now here is the even more messed up part. It doesn't do this all the time.

Any ideas?

What instructions did you follow? Others have had this problem and they managed to reset it.

^^^ LMFAO

And I did the 15 secs up and 15 secs down, followed the instructions in the manual etc. I'll try again tonight but lik ei said it's only intermittent which makes me think it's more of a dealership visit than a customer fix.

Might be something in the track that is causing it to bind and get a false sense of an obstruction. Put some silicone spray(ok, I know what you're thinkin') on a clean rag/paper towel and wipe into the rubber guide track. Can't hurt.

will try after work!

*edit the track was pretty dirty, like black dirt or nasty rubber residue. I used some silicone spray from work and it might have been it?

So i got some great news and info from my Service god at Infiniti.

Our cars come with a 1yr/20k.

He told me that sometimes weight restriction applied to the window ie. arm on the window while putting it up(sounds stupid but you might of done it to mess with a passenger that has their arm on the window and you put the window up to scare them etc..)

In this case they need to remove the door panel and reset the motor manually. It's free the first year or the maximum KM/Miles after that it's like a $100.00 or so.

Hope this helps and tell your friends
