iphone owners

to all the iphone owners (1st gen, not 3g), i know theres gota be tons!, what do you use to connect your iphone. please specifiy cables, brand, type, etc. i'm at a loss..

Are you referring connecting the ipod to the car? I use the standard cable that came with the G37. Other then that I use whatever ipod peripherals I have had before to charge, dock or sync my iphone.

yeah, i'm trying to connect to my G.
using the cables that came with it and using ipod cables i already have, my car only allows for audio. i'm trying to watch vids from my iphone to the nav. screen...( in park of course)

Don't think video is supported. You would need to get the adapter to composite video and hook it up that way.

I got it figured out! its working great!
...now i just gota figure out how to do that special mod..

No you didn't, because the Infiniti interface does not support video through the custom iPod connection--only audio. Video is only supported through the composite AUX connector which requires manual access of the device (IOW, not through the Infiniti console). Which, does not function while the car is driving. Which, requires the "special mod".
