Non-Nav MP3 and WMA tags

I burned few CDs with MP3 and WMA files - the tags for MP3s look fine but the WMA tags are all garbled and truncated. So instead of "Artist - Song" in WMA files I get "XX_##" on the display. The tags look fine on the PC. Has anyone tried WMA files with success? Also can the CD player take any other formats?

Actually I just realized that the WMA tags look fine when I select "Text" on the radio so the list display is showing truncated 8 character file names. I burned the WMA files with different software than the MP3s. I am going to try ISO and Joliet name format instead of Joliet and UDF. Hopefully that will fix it.
