The recall is expected to begin in early November.
I just don't know if it affects all G37(S), might be wiser to call your dealership and ask them to check your VIN against their recall list.

Why is this thread tucked away in 'the lounge / off topic' ?
if its material worthy to surface as TSB/recall material, it should stay up in 'general' imo..

It's still early in the recall the Cust. Service rep told me the only way to tell right now if your car is effected, is if nobody's sitting in the passenger seat, then the airbag off light should be on, if nobody's there and you don't have a light on. Well you might have an issue. But Nov. 3rd or so, the recall notices will be sent out for the effected VIN's.

I always thought something wa wrong with mine. It lights up when I first get in the car and no one is in the passenger seat but then it turns off right away.

until a TSB is released...
I don't understand why a TSB would be released. This isn't a service bulletin but a recall which is different, isn't it?

I view a TSB as "something weird is happening, here is how to investigate and adjust but we won't actively look for it" whereas a recall is "something MUST be investigated whether the customer has complained about it or not".
