Yeah...almost makes me want to consider downloading all the songs to the car's hard drive. Does anyone ever think about using that feature???

After reading prior responses to this thread, I tried fully charging my Ipod before hooking it up in the car, and so far the problem has not reappeared. I'm hoping this will continue to be the case.

I spoke too soon...the ipod switching started to reappear today....

Might just be certain model IPods My old Nano did it every time but my newer regular IPod does not do it.

FYI - I downloaded the latest ipod update from Apple this week, and so far the switch to ipod after 10-15 seconds problem has not reappeared. I've even run the battery down in the ipod before returning it to the car, and the problem still hasn't returned. That's when it was at its worse in the past. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the latest Apple update has the fix for us.
