Locating the LED for K40 Calibre
If you have the K40, where did you install the warning LEDs?
I received a pink invitation a few days ago to exercise considerable restraint with the accelerator on my G37S. (I contend that it is all a misunderstanding due to faulty equipment. I can say with a straight face that I didn't realize I was speeding, not to say that I actually was speeding).
In an effort to avoid further misunderstandings, I had a K40 installed in my coupe. The shop put the LEDs on the overhang for the instrument panel, under the theory that the LEDs would reflect off the glass. Sometimes they do, but depending on light conditions and my position in the seat, I can't see anything.

Thanks for the great suggestions. I told the shop that the current location was not working for me. They told me they would order more LEDs and take care of it if that is the way I want to go.
The shop's installers are excellent and tends to do all or most of the high end sports cars in town -- Porche, Ferrari, etc. (My dealer gave me the referral.) However, I think they are reluctant to get into the cluster itself. Any ideas on how hard the job would be?
Final question, can the unit support 4 LEDs so I don't need to disconnect the current ones?
Thanks again.
