WTF! Iphone audio stopped playing through car speakers!

I added music to my iphone today and all was good. I love listening to my iphone while driving, and all was working fine at about 6 PM today, i was listening to the music i added. Nothing has changed on my iphone, no updatees, nothing. I have a 1st gen. unlocked and jailbroken. I've had zero problems. I got in my g at about 10 PM and I got the usuall "accessorie attached is not supported" or whatever message, but I always get this message. I can use all the ipod controls to pick my playlists, and change songs on my iphone, and the car still charges my iphone, but when I choose a song, it plays through the iphone, I get zero audio coming from the cars stereo/speakers. I can't figure out what happened, did the plug go bad? I don't think it's the plug/cable because everything else beside audio is fine. Is there some setting on the iphone? A setting on the stereo? I'm going insane, anyone please help ASAP!!!

wow. try this:

remove the negative battery terminal for about 15 minutes to reset the AV system. be sure to note down your radio presets first.

that may fix whatever problem it is.

I did a full custom restore and didn't install custom themes or anything and it works now, thanks!

One thing that I've noticed it that if you have an IPhone and you "enable" the locking mechanism (passcode), the songs will not play back on the phone until you disable the passcode feature.
