My grandparents have K40's in both of there cars, and they work great.

I get almost no false alarms and I picked up a state trooper using Ka from atleast 1 mile away.

I can find out what model they have and take some pics if you would like.

Never heard of K40. Try to find some test results from http://www.guysoflidar.com/ before buying.

I would definitely appreciate that. The one I am looking at is the Cailbre with the difuser. I don't see a model number I didn't know you can just add on the difuser. So I am really 99% positive that this is the one I am going to get. Read all great reviews.

I was just looking to see if anyone had put the K40 on a G37 yet, guess not?

Here are pics of it installed on one of my grandparents cars, its the newer bluetooth system, they had the older K40 in the last amg they had.

Sorry for the crappy MS paint circles.

Inside, 2 blue LED's to show the radar is going off.

Front

The back just has a sensor mounted on-the top of the license plate.

That looks very clean and well thought out.. I wonder how effective it is over the regular V1 or 8500 though.
