k fellas just checkd it out and all commands work...

 

Damn Infiniti!!!!!! The AV unit is still on back order. I had them order it in August and they said it won't be available until the middle of October.

 

^^Seriously? I just took my car in yesterday and they told me they had to order the part but it would only be about a week.

 

What do you mean all commands work??? You have the full set from the 1st generation???

Good thing I got mine at Riverside too...mine hasn't been acting up lately, but once it does, I'll be bringing the TSB with me for replacement as well.

How'd you get them to do the muffler? Did you bring the other TSB for this?

 

Guys I believe Gamedog had all the commands to begin with. Not sure if his AV unit has been replaced yet. Gamedog?

 

I finally got around to bringing my car in to have the module swapped - part is on backorder with no ETA. Has anyone gotten this fixed yet?

I usually see where the the preset is messing up. If it messes up on preset A ch 2 for example i would just set that ch to somthing else and set it back to what it was before and do that for every ch where it messes up. That works for me. You really dont have to reset the whole system. Just see what ch it messes up on. It didnt mess up on every ch only on some of them and i just did what i wrote above to fix it..msg me if need more help

 

Yeah but some of the members are saying this fix only lasts for a short while and then the problem returns.

 

Yea i did that like over month ago and no problems yet (fingers crossed)

 

^^I did that like 4 different times and it keeps going back so I gave up and had them order a new one.

 

Setting it to a different channel and back usually did the trick for me. If I set it to the same one, the problem would persist.

 

Same here. I just redo the presets when they mess up which "fixes" it for a little while, but then always messes up later. I can deal with it for now as I do not have the patients for the dealer, waiting on parts, etc.

I just got my av unit replaced this pasted weekend. I checked to see if the navigation had all the voice commands, and it did not. I guess you get the same av unit as the one you had before.

I should have requested the av unit that has all the voice commands. Oh well, its not like I use the regular voice commands that often anyways.

 

^Dang that sucks... I never use them either but I had it before I replaced it and after I replaced it... did you get free XM and the updated Navi? I did... If not you should tell'em something...
