ok so i just got my g37 and i love it... i have about 8 gigs of music on my laptop that i want to transfer onto my g37 onboard harddriive. i was wondering if theres a way i can transfer the music easly onto the harddrive or would i have to burn all the songs to liek a 100 different cds? can i make a dvd disc and use that? and is there a way to burn the cd so the car reads the name of the song and artist so i dont have to manually enter each song?

 

Nope. Prior to my purchase I also thought this could be done but songs can only be ripped from CDs (not MP3 cds) to the hard drive. It's slow and painful but either get an iPod or just burn ~40 CDs of your favorite songs. No DVD reader. Songs should show up with Artist - Song title, make sure they are labled/tagged before burning.

on to a cd you can but you cannot transfer them to the HD of the car.

 

You got to rip the songs from your iPod, if you don't have them in .mp3 format then make an audio CD. That is the ONLY way for now.
