New AV Control Unit has all voice commands

I'll see what I can dig up
Update: I just put that 25915 in and it reports back as CONT ASSY-AV.. the other model stuff the guy referenced might be the details of your _car_ i.e. the VIN, etc I traced through to the AV section.. I've attached shots from the parts program.. as you'll see in the 2nd to last pic it has 2 VIN beginnings JK63C- and JK64A- and that last pic (which is linked to the JK63C-) mentions NAVIVOICE, etc...

My VIN starts JNKCV64E08M....
So does that mean I need the JK63C to get back the voice commands?? If so, I'm calling the dealer TODAY!!!!

the people who bought the car later on Infiniti removed a lot of the voice commands that the navi recognizes. I have no idea why, but now we can only say the most basic of commands, like "satellite radio" or "fm radio" instead of specific stations, for example.
Theres a long list of commands that don't work anymore, but the people that bought the car when it first came out got it.
it sucks, really.

After reading 3 pages of this thread, I can't believe it just ended like this! What happened?!? Can someone order the early unit or not?
Most (maybe all) of what I've read on this subject involves Nav equipped cars. Did non-Nav cars ever have voice commands beyond the phone controls?

Just FYI, if you get a new hard drive, because your old one has frozen up and had to reset itself, you will get NAV version 08-09, thats the only benefit of getting a new one, oh and besides a hard drive that doesn't freeze up.

Well I'll be happy just to get any unit - I'm waiting 3 months so far.
