Flash Card.....unsafe?

So I was at the dealer yesterday, speaking to a tech, who told me that they had a G37 come in dead.....He said that the owner had downloaded a virus with his music and that it got into the car and killed the computer.....

If that is true, that is scary as hell

ROTFLMAO... Close to impossible. The virus would have to be made to work on whatever OS the car's computer runs on. I hightly doubt anyone would waste their time doing this and it would likely be very expensive. I'd suspect you'd need to be running the OS as well to write code to mess with it. The dealership mechanic just didn't know the problem... so, when in doubt, he figures he can blame it on a virus. Sounds good, right. Lol. What a moron.

Haha.

I can tell you right now that virus probably had something to do with the owner trying to by-pass the lock-out.

I plugged in my ipod one day and the car started clattering. I took it to the dealership, because it wouldn't go away, and what did they tell me? AIDS. Yup, AIDS. Freaking viruses. Not even my car is safe.
