Agreed.
3db down, for the novice, is a 50% decrease in power. I failed to really look at the graph. Too stoked by the sound. I'll see about posting it.
The audio analyzer did appear to be a good unit. I program the stuff for a living so I have a little experience.
Let's just say that my ears are happy. Worth every penny.

I am hardly ever on while at a computer, but I have a messenger service through my blackberry and it keeps me logged into Aim, Yahoo, MSN 24/7. Just IM me and if I get it I will respond and hoepfully I can help you out with something.

1k for install and kick panels?! Did they make custom fiberglass kicks for you or did they flush mount them in the OEM kicks?
Did you run speaker wiring or did you use the stock speaker wiring? Please tell me Bose definitively used 18 gauge wiring for the speakers!
That would save an azz load of work for me as I would give it a go and see what my results were like with stock wiring.

Did you consider mounting the amps under the floor on the opposite side where you removed the Bose amps from? That's where I'm considering mounting the PDX-5 for a total stealth install and to not lose any more trunk space than I already do to the 4080.

Any particular reason why there is minimal deadening material used? Budget or preference?
Was there not enough space on the kick to mount there? Or was this method chosen by you?
Just curious as to some of the decisions, not trying to be rude here. The install looks clean overall.
