Need to know how to keep power running in G37

Does anyone know of a way to keep the cigarette lighter power running even when the car is off? I usually run my phone off those plugs which is not a big deal if it doesn't stay on but I have diabetes and am looking for a way to keep my insulin cool. I found this which looks really cool but it needs power all the time so that means I cannot store it in the G because the stupid plugs shut off when the car is not on. If someone can help me by telling me how I can disable this or give me a link to another small cooling unit that runs off a battery as well I would be grateful. This has been the only thing I have found.

Doesn't one of the wires to the powered rear view mirror always stay on? I'm pretty sure I read about it when I was putting in my Invisicord, as people were plugging it into the wrong outlet and the radar would stay on. I would look into getting that cord sliced and take power from there. Not sure if it would work, but its worth looking into.

That seems like a lot of work and something I really don't want to do. If I do that it would be for a radar/laser detector. I am hoping there is something that can be done to allow me to use one of the cigarette light spots when the car is off. Hopefully there is a fuse that controls this.

Hardwire it to your battery.

I'd be worried about your battery going dead though.

It seems to say it can handle degrees up to 100F "Vehicle temperatures can exceed 100F within minutes when the a/c is turned off." I don't plan to keep it in the car for hours upon hours but if I am traveling it would be nice to be able to leave it in the car for 15 to 30 minutes while I grab a bite to eat or something. I don't think it would drain the battery with how much juice it uses, at least not after an hour.

I'd be sure to include something to cut off the power when the voltage drops too much on your battery. Don't want to be stranded... then again don't want to be without insulin.

Harwire it right to the battery. I picked up a cable from a marine supply store that I used for my boat, the cable is like 15ft long and it has a cig plug with a rubber cover on it, I have it mounted real nice in my boat.
