Mounting Ipod inside center console?

Anybody know a way to mount the ipod into the inside of the center console cover? i saw someone had it done in a thread here but i cant find it.. and i have no idea what to search for to find it. It seemed to open up a lot of space as the wire was fully extended and the ipod was harnessed into the top of the inside of the center console

Thats the one, thanks .
I use a nano.. whatever generation is the one just before the newest one and even though its small the infiniti cord is pretty stiff so it + the nano takes up A LOT of the console space.

I think you want something stronger than velcro holding your iPod onto the inner lid. It looks like the lid can be removed by unscrewing the screws which hold it in place. Then, you could permanently mount a rigid skin or some other case into which you could slide the iPod. Or, you could mount a belt clip to the lid and have the matching case snap or lock slide into or onto the mounted belt clip. Just a couple of thoughts.

If you use the 3m Dual-lock instead of the normal velcro it will not come off. That stuff is incredible. I would stick all kinds of things to my motorcycle and they could not be shaken off when using Dual-lock. Supporting an iPod video in that position would be a cake walk for this stuff.

Same way i guess? Maybe buy a two piece hard case for your iPhone and dual-lock or velcro only the back part to the inside of the center console, that way when you leave your car you can just snap your phone out and be on your way.
