Where is Your Sirus Radio Mounted?

I want to get a Sirius unit installed, and I'm curious where you guys are mounting yours? I am on a 3 year lease, so I would need to have it somewhere it can be removed easily (and look clean). Any pictures you guys have would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Even though the merger was approved by the justice dept, both XM/Sirius are saying units that receive both signals are over a year away.

Check the other thread running in this section. You don't have a sirius unit in your car, you can only get the factory installed xm unless you do the after market switch that bfranks figured out.

bfranks. Thanks for that. Ive been reading your threads, but I'm still a bit scared. I know nothing about electronics, and I'm worried I'll screw my new baby up!

Plus it's a lease, so I would need to make sure it is reversible.

Just so you know, your current XM radio will work with Sirus soon.

It's being reported that units able to receive both signals won;t be available for at least 1 year.

I posted a few links in the other Sirius thread...but here is one discussing some of the details about the merger. It's not nearly as good for their customers as they made it out to be.

Ok...sorry about that...was giving you info for the G35 instead of G37.

For the G37, the cable is under the floor to the right side of the spare tire. From what Bullitt said it's taped up a little ways down (toward the rear of the car) from the camera control unit that's mounted on the same side. Others have said that it was just laying there untaped.

I don't have any pics, so can't really be much more help then that. There are a few guys from the other thread that got it working, so you might try sending them a PM to see if you can get more details.
