Run the wires to the fuse box.

i'm sure someone out there has wired them to the map light / sunroof area under the headliner.

i have the power rear view mirror, but the invisacord pins fall out eventually after enough bumps. guess i should try the pliers and sewing needle idea to make the hole bigger.

Purchased a stealth cord and 1 of the prongs broke during installation...they are sending a new one no questions asked. This is what I call good CS.

Any idea wheres a good area to install the mute button? Doesn't look like infinti gave the g37 much space to install buttons.

I just bought an Escort Redline on here and need to hardwire mine as well. How do you mute it after it is hard wired?

Stealthcord looks good but that Blendmount is a ripoff at $80.

You should get a garage manual. I got one on CD and it has the manual for both 2009 and 2010. It is now on my keychain flash drive. It is pretty expensive from Infiniti, but I got it fer $25 on eCrater.com. You will have more good answers than you can handle then.

Are you mounting the X50 above the mirror, to the right? That is a nice discreet spot, but very tight. I know up in the dark tint, so performance might take a hit, but i'm willing to trade that for a discreet clean look (perfect with the stealth cord). Or maybe I should swap out with a lower profile radar detect that fits in that space easier?

If you use a stealth cord there is no button. If you use the escort hard wire kit, then it includes a mute button.

The detector itself has a button but it is annoying to reach up everytime and push it.

I know a few people that modified the escort wire kit and combined it with a stealthcord to keep the functionality of the mute button/indicator.

Not really that hard, but just requires some extra work.
