How to dial "pause" or "wait" using BT?
I'm having issue with my G's BT interface. Let's say I want to check my voice mail. My phone has ability to program "pause" or/and "wait" characters so I can check my messages by clicking one button on my phone. The problem is that my G will ignore those special symbols completely. Same goes if I try to enter number with these special characters into G's phone book.
Worse thing is that keypad on G is disabled while driving so I can't enter them manually either while driving. The only way to dial is to actually take out the phone, dial the number from the phone's contact list and then use G's speakers to listen messages.
Does anyone have the same problem?
I'm using BB Pearl phone

What characters I should use for "pause" or "wait"? I've tried "+","#" - do not work
Also I have phone number (plus additional characters) stored in my phone already. Works fine from the phone. When I transfer it to phone book on my G - it will ignore them.

I have the BB Curve and at least with checking my messages I just hit "1" on my actual phone and do it that way. There is no real way to delete messages and those sort of things while moving because of the disabled keypad.

The fact that we have to use our phones (instead of car system) to dial our voice messages systems drives me insane! What was Infinti thinking? They prevent us to do so many things while driving (using phone keypad for example) but force us to use our phone keyboards to check voice messages.
I'm also kind of surprised that not a lot of people complaining about it. How do you guys (and girls) check your voice mail while driving your G?

I have a speed dial button programed in my phone which has the proper pauses and passwords. When I answers and connects then I have to use the buttons on the phone actually listen to the message, move to the next one etc.....

Seems like this is the only way. It is really awkward as voice system is kind of slow. Plus if you have a passenger - he/she will be hearing your password! Something is not right - my second car (Acura MDX) can store "pause" symbols in the phone book...

Pause will work
enter in the car's phone book as 555-1222 pause pause 1234 pound pause pause 2345 pound
in other words just say the word pause for pause and the word pound for # . Mine works to call office voicemail, enter the username and password . once I am in the messges I do have to hit talk and say send 2 to play or send 6 to skip, etc. But the pause does work . It's in the manual I swear.
Say star for *.
the length of the pause may be different than the phone you are used to so you may have to add a pause to the cars phonebook
