So far I've had no issues with the antenna on the back deck. When I had my Sportster 5 in the car (same antenna and location) it showed a full satellite signal and about half terrestrial signal....can't get much better then that. I think there is a way to measure signal strength through the factory head unit, but I can't seem to find the post on how to get into those menus.

I picked up the antenna from BestBuy, however I no longer see it on their website.

Here is a link to Crutchfield

You should be able to buy one locally.

Having said that....I just read the reviews on Crutchfield for that antenna.....

I have personally not had any issues with this antenna (use the same one on my boat for the last year), but obviously others have. So you might want to look for a different model. Terk perhaps.

They sounded exactly the same to me when I had the Starmate and factory XM going at the same time. However living in Houston we have a decent network of terrestrial repeaters for both Sirius and XM, so maybe that helps

My choice was based on programming.

Yep. The OP got it working. Read through the thread....he posted some pics and more details. I also got it working on a G35 with nav, and it's the same setup....just different location for the harness.

I just picked up a G37S w/ Nav, and I've looked in the trunk where suggested. I just want to make sure that my car has the extra connector; if somebody who has done this mod could show a picture of the actual connector, it would be greatly appreciated.
