It's the friggin cable that takes up the most space. You would think they could have made it a little more flexible.
To answer your question though....I have a 160 gig classic in mine, and it fits fine.

I purchased the new 8GB Ipod Nano 5 months ago (2" x 2" x 1/4 thick), as it fits great in the center console with plenty of room to spare. I fit 1680 songs on mine, but it depends on the size of your audio files.

I thought about that, but I like controlling the ipod through the radio. After setting up the genres for each letter, it's not so bad finding music now. Plus I like the fact that the interface cable charges the unit.

I keep my Ipod and component video cables in my console and i can listen music and watch videos when im bored. BTW component video cables takes a lot of space in my console.

I've had my Ipod in the car since I bought it, and never had any issues with it not charging. Obviously if you are using RCA or component cables it won't charge.

I have the 30Gig classic. It must be staying on cause when I drive I'm listening to my Ipod. So the Ipod is on when I'm not in the car? Do you guys unplug it when you're not in the car, is that the solution?
