Radar Detector & Laser Interceptor

I never used any of those before.

I am planning to buy a Valentine 1 as a radar detector and a Laser Interceptor.

Laser Interceptor Questions:
1. Can cops easily find out that you are using one? Can you get ticket for that?
2. Would you recommend to get it? or V1 is enough to warn you?

I have read alot online and most people say you will need both. Laser interceptors are not illegal to my knowledge. I have a V1 And love it other than the fact in the city its basically useless since it will go off for every best buy..circuit city..mall.

I use an Rx65 (comparable to V1 and Passport) works like a charm. Is a laser interceptor a jammed or detector? Jamors work well not much since in detecting laser cuz its already too late.

From my research, I would suggest the Valentine 1 and the laser interceptor. The Valentine 1 for radar coverage and the laser interceptor for laser jamming, just as you stated. If you have the technology package, you will have to disable the laser detecting feature on the V1 from what I understand or get nearly constant alerts due to the laser guided cruise control whether you have the cruise in use or not. This shouldn't be an issue though because the LI will cover you for laser anyways. Sounds like the ultimate setup to me and is the exact setup I am planning. As far as your question concerning whether or not cops will know you have one, when you get the alert from the LI, you can hit the kill switch, slow to the posted speed limit, and this will prevent any further jam codes if there were any to begin with(most likely not) and you should be fine. By no means an expert, but just my advice and/or opinion.

I have the tech package and do not have any problems with the ICC interferring with the laser detection on my Passport 8500.

The Valentine One is the best radar/laser detector.

The Laser Interceptor is the best laser jammer.

i would recommend the v1 it works pretty well saved me twice just today in NJ but make sure to check the local laws before you go and buy one because it is illegal in some states to operate and / or to have one in possession

I don't know much about jammers. I do know that both the V1 and Passport 8500 x50 are both great detectors. If you look at the radar detector tests, the V1 has better laser protection, as the Passport 8500 x50 has better Ka range. Also have seen good reviews on the Bel Rx65.

Both of my vehicles have the Passport 8500 x50 and my friend has the V1.

If you have the jammers on the front of your car it will effect the ICC. i called both escort and infiniti usa before purchasing by car because i knew i would be installing my system on my car. they both recommended me not getting the tech pack. so i didnt. I have the 8500 x50 with the laser shifter package...

I have had the V1 for about 3 years now and love it. As far as the laser goes, you may want to look into an actual jammer/shifter as long as they arent illegal where you live. Can't wait for the invisicord to come so I can hook the thing up again

How does it work for you, the jammers?
In general, if the jammers cause the laser not to read accuratelly, wouldnt cop just stop you to check if you have a jammer? I assume Los Angeles cops probably would.

How effective is it? With todays technology, dont cops have more sophisticated lasers?

I have had it in all my cars for the last 6 years. Never got a ticket for laser that held in court. They are legal here in florida so ya they could stop by but it doesnt mean anything. I got one ticket from a motorcycle cop that claimed to laser me. Brought paper work showing i had laser jammers installed in my car judge threw it out.

So this motocycle cop didnt have anything in his paper work?! Meaning, no speed was shown, just the fact to prove that you had laser jammers installed?!

I can imagine how pissed off cop was lol
