Well I am not sure what kind of event you are planing on winning. I am guessing SQ (sound quality). There a big debate in the industry as to what audio equipment is High end and whats good and all that so I will leave that out just what I know can work. For the most part you are going to need a Digital Sound Processor Two or three amps depending on how many Component Systems you have. One to Two for mids and Tweets amd one for the sub(s)
SPL System Calculate the cubic Feet of your trunk and put maybe up to 8
12" subs in a push/pull (Iso) or maybe 4 12" Subs in a sealed ported box. get four amps and bam. So loud you can't sit in the car with the volume up.
Now for the price this is gonna big a huge range. Since it is all dependant on what you use. and what type of Enclosure and Amprack you have done. Or if you are able to DIY it. Here is what I would say on things.
Audio Gear
3 way front stage
2 way Rear stage
1 or 2 Subs
Signal Processor
Amp #1
Amp #2
Amp #3
Sound Dampening
wire management
LCD Screens
$2000-$5000
Enclosure and Amprack build
$1500-$4000

So All that said and done That is what you are looking at for a IASCA type SQ. It all really comes down to waht you are wanting and what you want it to look like. I am looking to build a SQ system in my G37S as well and it is gonna be a total custom stealth install with minimal trunk displacement. Good Luck on the install and with getting a good shop to do it. That is the biggest thing if your are going to take it to a place do your reseach and get a good place to do it right once and only once and make sure they stand behind thier products and craftsmanship 100%
My Planned System
Dynaudio 3way comp
Dynaudio 2way comp

Zapco DC 1000.4

first of all. No G is meant to output that. You would need all the dynomat in the world and why do you only care about stats? If it sounds good it sounds good...

well umm I need my G to handle 140DB so I can get all 140 points from the judges at a SQ comp! Each point means a lot to me dude. A couple of points could mean the difference between 1st and 2nd n 3rd place homie! That could mean I lose out on several thousand in prize money and sponsorship get it!

then buy a caddy sedan... Your G is going to be the slowest G on the road with all that equipment. And considering your always talking about giving cars a "spankin" that wont be happening anymore... dynomat weighs a lot

140 db is considerd a lot in fact, too much, when you think about it an average movie plays back at 85db and is considered too loud to the general piublic if it hits over 100db at the peak areas.

dude I don't think 2 10inch subs and one amp is gonna weigh my car down much... in fact I have 2 10inch subs now and a smaller than what I want amp and I still gave it to a 2005 Mustang Gt w intake and exhaust, 2004 Acura Stype jus to name a few....

Dude r u sure? do u acutally know anything about subwoofers or audio in general?.... becuz I heard of dudes hittin well over 140db with 2 12inch subs

yea its possible with 2 12"s for sure to get very close to 140db. i dont know about those memphis but i was able to hit 138db with 2 10" tdx diamond audio subd and a 2000watt hifonics amp but that was for spl the sq sucked.

Yeh you won't get near 140 even with a sick system unless you mat or probably cement your car! I had an impossible time just gettting to 128 with 3 12" W6's, the only way to pull the extra 10-15dB was with dynamat. Your also going to need a sick box designed for the G to maximize dB.
