Will This Be Enough To Hit 140db?

Ive had alot of systems in my day... one being 3 12 w6s also, 4 jl 10 W0s, Loudest system to date was 2 kicker L7s 12s and it was no where near 140 let alone 130. It was so loud you ears itched and rang... I think to hit 140 its going to take you removing the back seat... I believe that will be the ONLY way. Then you have wasted a really nice car...

^^ Why do you guys need that kind of Bass? I will never understand I guess... it just makes everything rattle and muffles out the sound of the music.... I am not going to do absolutely anything to my system in my G. I think its good enough for me the way it is.

I love base to but not so much that it will literally rattle your car apart. One 12 properly enclosed or 2 tens is more than enough for me. I wouldnt even put that in my G. To make it sound good you need dynomat and that stuff is very heavy. Get another car if you wanna compete in a stereo contest. SUV or a truck.

The only thing I can say about bass is wow, it makes EVERY song, good or bad, slow or fast, sound soooooo much better! If you get the right kind of speakers and a good box, there is no distortion, rattling, just damn good music!! I'll be putting my W6s in the G37 this week, I just hope the rearview mirror doesn't break off so quickly like my G35s did hahaha good times!

ANYWAYS, if your looking to get custom boxes to fit the G, which you won't NEED for 10s it will cost some $$ I'd say two 10s and decent amp, wiring kit, labor easily $700+ considering I dont know wth Memphis subs are or what they cost.

^^^ did that seriously happen? W6's are gonna sound sooo clean in your car. If your gonna do a system in a g37 thats what it should be.. not something that your trying to get up to 140db

Yes the rearview mirror SNAPPED off twice!! I'll have my W6s in soon, just going to use the same boxes for my G35, they won't fit as flush but I don't show my trunk anymore so I really don't care to spend that kind of money again on a lease. Heres a pic of the G35 same setup will be in the G37.
