Annoying Audio Control Problem

This isn't a HUGE issue for me, but it does get annoying. I'm wondering if anyone else has the same problem.

I have my FM stations under Preset B. When I scroll up (press down on the steering wheel) to change from station B1 to B2, it works fine. When I try to go from B2 to B3, it changes back to B1. The only three ways I can get to B3 is either hold down on the steering control, scroll down (up on control) the other way, or press it on the control ****.

Am I the only one witnessing this??

I think it works fine for Presets A and C. It's just B on FM that does this.

Hey chase, do you by any chance flick the switch. You know, let it snap back into the neutral position or do you gentle release it? Because if you just let it go it may spring back and make contact with the down after you hit up. I have done this on occasion.

I have too my XM A FM B and AM C.. Don't understand why this is happening, sounds like the control on the wheel is malfunctioning..?

No I'm not flicking the switch. The station switching down happens WHILE I'm pressing up, not when I let the switch go. If your theory was true, it would happen on all of the preset stations, not just B2.

I'll bring this up the next time I'm at the dealership.

Sounds like a defect; I suggest scheduling an appointment with your dealer.

Any resolution? This seems to happen to mine also...But I don't use radio enough for it to bother me. Still would like to get it fixed. Seems like the highlight bar disappears after selection. Not sure why.

There was a recent thread on this issue, just reset the presets and you'll be fine.

That's almost it. You actually need to set it to another station, then set it back to the one you want.

Here's another weird thing. I actually ran into another problem a few days ago. I was on station A1, and then I wasn't able to switch stations from my steering wheel. I had to actually press another preset station on the dash to get out of it. Same thing happened after I flipped to A3. The A3 appears on the screen, then immediately disappears, after which I'm unable to do anything from the wheel. I reset the station to another station and back and it still gave me problems. Oddly enough, it went away a few minutes later (maybe since I restarted the car).
