Does Valet Mode Limit Revs?

In some areas of LA or Hollywood, that's near impossible to do. Most valet services (if not all) have policies that free them from accountability of any damage to your car. Although I see plenty of cars going through valet that are just as nice or nicer, I'm hesitant to take my car there on the weekends unless I can park the car myself or at least see the person valet the car.

When I take any car to a dealer to do service, I have the service advisor do a walk around before they take the car to not anything so that IF when i get my car back, my rims are curbed, they will have to replace.
I also note the mileage. It's unlikely that they service people are going to go joy riding in your car. They have better things to do... like work. If you still don't feel comfortable, stay there and wait while they do the work so that you can monitor, but I wouldn't be worried about it at an Infiniti Dealership.

Good advice though, I will definitely have a visual inspection done by a supervisor if I drop my car off...although he could just as easily deny things IF someone were to happen to your car.

I think the whole process to valet the car i.e. flick the switch then lock everything and so on it just dumb. it should be when you remove the fob from the key the trunk automatically will not open and the glove compartment should lock automatically also... that would be cool

LOL, I understand you guys dont want no one to drive your car and what not but... honestly if you just tipped the valet when you pulled up your car will stay up front and you dont have to worry about stupid **** happening... LOL i worked valet for over 3 years.. and the most i see is expensive cars with cheap owners!! Go self park and walk in the cold with your wife if you cant afford valet service...
P.S. 2 dollars isnt worth the risk... drop 10 or something on the way in...
I valet my car everywhere and never have a single problem... but i also tip 10 on the way in and 10 on the way out... usually the valet will pamper my car more than me... just a little help for you tight wads out their...

One of my friend Valets at a Casino, they see Lambo's Ferrari's and the Works, of course when a 20 year old kid like my friend sees one, his eyes open up and he has to at least let it roar. I would take the $10 tip and still Roar the hell out of a Lambo haha

You're right, that is solution for when you want to go to a restaurant. But when you take your car in for servicing, you usually have to give somebody the keys at some point. If valet mode included a rev limiter, I wouldn't have to worry about some porter at the dealership trying to do burnouts around the corner.
I too never give my keys up except when required for service....and it still makes me very nervous.
