Actualy my wife did that from her motoQ while we were driving to the Mall for some christmas shoping. And it was just copy and paste. She hates BMW's I like them but like the G better.

What the hell...the G isn't reading my 2GB CF card. It says "reading error" or something. Can anyone clue me in as to whats happening? Are my song names too long and its conflicting or something?

I've got some extremly long song names and it doesn't' have any trouble reading my 4GB Microdrive. Either the card is whack or the slot is. You may need to borrow another card and try it out.

I reformatted it to FAT32...took out all folders and just placed the songs in the main directory and now everything is just peachy. I think it might have been one of the folder names having "&" in the title. Eitherway, I'll go folderless for a while just to make sure that was the problem. Thanks.

You'll hate the scrolling speed through the artist list... I know, I have a 160GB iPod and it takes FOREVER to get to 'F'... I'm starting to get really creative with playlists.

Douche, really?

So I am : A stream of water, often containing medicinal or cleansing agents, that is applied to a body part or cavity for hygienic or therapeutic purposes.

So if i am a douche i have a therapeutic purpose? Sweet. I rock. And in most cases the douche goes into the vagina. Even better I get action.

I think the term you might have been looking for was douche bag used in its slang term.

.......

But that would just be mean. So i'll take it as a compliment. Thank you and God bless you and your family.
Now that was funny!

Depends on what you call a waste. I am using a 4 gig CF card and used MS Media Player to 'rip' and 'synch' my 26 albums at highest quality onto the card. Sound is great, volumn is great and I have enough room to put a couple more albums whenever I can acquire them.

Nope, only audio. It won't even display pictures which would be nice.

I am using Sandisk 8GB Ultra II with no issues. I have over 512 songs on there and I thought I could access them all. I will try it again though.

I have an 8GB CF card and 541 songs. Only the first 512 (or so) songs show up in the browser.

I am considering burning the songs to a CD and storing them on the Music Box. Of course, the titles are lost if I don't load entire store-bought CDs. I guess mixed song CDs don't match the CDDB/Gracenote Databases

The following announcement brought to you by Mr. Tom Jones:

Love Is In The Air
Love is in the air everywhere I look around
love is in the air every sight and every sound
and I don't know if I'm being foolish
I don't know if I'm being wise
but it's something that I must believe in
and it's there when I look in your eyes.
Love is in the air, in the whisper of the trees,
love is in the air in the thunder of the sea,
and I don't know if I'm just dreaming,
I don't know if I feel safe,
but it's something that I must believe in
and it's there when I call out your name.
Love is in the air, love is in the air, oh, oh, oh, oh, uh,
uh, uh, uh.
Love is in the air, in the rising of the sun,
love is in the air, when the day is nearly done,
and I don't know if you are illusion,
don't know if I see truth,
but you are something that I must believe in,
and you are there when I reach out for you.
Love is in the air everywhere I look around
love is in the air every sight and every sound
and I don't know if I'm being foolish
I don't know if I'm being wise
but it's something that I must believe in
and it's there when I look in your eyes.
Love is in the air, love is in the air, oh, oh, oh, oh, uh,
uh, uh, uh.

That is all...

You don't need to load the entire store-bought CDs and you can rip mixed song CDs and get the text into MB. When you burn your mixed CDs make sure you burn them with CD-Text. So the track titles are actually stored on the disk. I use iTunes but I think most media players will burn CD-Text

I'm currently in the (slow) process of burning all my favorite songs in itunes to re-writable CDs then ripping them in Music Box. The only downside is that only the Artist and Track names will be stored correctly. The Album name will be stored as the name of your mixed CD. For example I burn all my tracks with the CD name of "My Top Songs." So, every track has the correct track name/Artist Name and "My Top Songs" as the Album name.
