so yes ...cheaper...
Thanks. I could see it going the other way around too, that's why... if it's a brand new custom built product, the initial cost will be higher... and will only decrease with volume...

Hope they're ready soon... a ballpark figure might get a lot more people interested. I know I won't get it if it's exorbitantly expensive.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the G35 enclosures were ~$350 per side. It seems like these would be similarly priced.

ALCON,

If the quality is the same if not better than the G35coupe the $350 per enclosure will be worth it. As I have stated before unless you are trying to compete you will be satisfied. I want my box now, please

I've seen it. At least the prototype. The quality is there and it's evident. Nick had my car for a full week working on it and sanding and test fitting and re-sanding, etc. It looks like what Infiniti should have done on our cars in the first place or at least offered as an option. I'll make a call and ask about group buy on Monday.

Please do... I've already started looking into subs/amps...

Anyone know of any good subs or amps that I can pick up at a best buy? I have a few hundred in gift cards saved up, and I figured it would be an easy place to start... if not, I was thinking a JL 10w3v3 and the JL 1200 amp. Pretty simple, but I think it would do the trick. Any thoughts?

^^^^^^ Black Betty, I think the Gators will definitely win this upcoming year... this last year we almost got you! Next year we will!

Woah 1200 amp?! I'm running two 10w3v3 on a JL 500/1 and I think thats plenty of boom. 500/1 is fine for one 10w3v3.

Sorry, I think JL messed around with their amp numbering. 1200 was not meant to represent RMS watts.

Here are the specs:

Rated Power 12.5 V:
120 W RMS x 1 @ 4 ohm
200 W RMS x 1 @ 2 ohm

Rated Power 14.5 V:
175 W RMS x 1 @ 4 ohm
275 W RMS x 1 @ 2 ohm

Anyone near Los Angeles 310 with a single 10" install?

I'm debating whether to go through with the install.

I feel like there is some base lacking, but i don't want ear popping base either.

Hoping someone might have a 10" install so i could hear what it sounds like.

I'm almost starting to think that there may not be enough high end in the system to accomodate that kind of extra bass.

Just remember that the sub is very tune-able. YOu can adjust the amp volume (gain) and cross-over to your preference. The box with a small 200 watt amp will blend very nice with your factory system. I know because that is what i had in my G35.

Thanks!
