Why don't we start a list of people who are 100% interested in buying the passenger side 4080 enclosure in a separate thread? Not maybes, or I'll think about its, but 100% committed to purchasing. Perhaps if there is enough interest, we can get it done? I'll start one and if you want the buy the passenger side box, add yourself please. Do not put your name on the list unless you are prepared to buy.
NOTE that this is not in any way a guarantee that it will get done, but simply to give Ainslie an idea of the demand (or lack of demand) that there is for development of the passenger side 4080 enclosure. I will donate Black Betty again if needed for prototyping because I love the smell of resin in my car for weeks afterward.

I can't even imagine another one...I just got my 10W6v2 and 250/1 installed and it's almost too loud with the bass control set all the way down. I don't think all the explosiosn I've been around are doing me any favors though. More power to you guys!

yea, their prices are insanely inflated. Some things by more than 100 bucks. The only useful part of the website is their live chat when you have question about audio
I think one 10 is plenty of boom. I have my bass **** turned almost completely down and it hits pretty hard still... If only the speakers in the car were louder for the words...

Sub Help
I have gone through my sixth Polk SR104 in my G37. They keep frying after about a month of use. I am using a Rockford Punch 1000. I was going with JL to begin with, but the installer does not carry that brand. Luckily all the Polk's have been replaced under warranty, but it is getting annoying having to drive in to get them replaced. I noticed that the specs for the SR104 are very close to the upper limits on cubic space and mounting depth for that enclosure. Would the JL 10W6 be a good replacement? Thanks for any help.

Has anyone installed the 4080 enclosure on a 2009 Infiiniti G37 Coupe yet? I just got my box and I tried putting it in to see how it fits but it doesn't fit. I was wondering to install the box, do you need to first take out the original back panel in the trunk to install it? I am bringing it into a audio installation place but was just kinda worried it wasn't made for my car...

If you read the thread, you'd see that this was designed for the coupe well before they made one for the sedan.
One pages 14 and 15, you can seem some good pictures of it installed in the coupes. They were even installed with the net and trunkmats in place without problem. I've read that you just need to force it into place because it's meant to stay put (ie, not slide around). I don't have one (yet) but others have said that it is a tight squeeze. So no, you don't have to take anything off to get it to fit.
Let us know how it sounds once you've got it in!
