Here are some pictures from my install. Everything sounds good, but I have an issue with the sub turning on due to my amp install... used the signal turnon of the JL amp instead of the remote lead turnon. There's issues with the amp turning on at low volumes, as the signal is not strong enough to tell the amp to power on... it'll be fixed later this week.
In the meantime, hope the pictures help...

Looks like a good install
Love the look!! Want to get one installed in my G37. Did you just run in off the rear speaker lines and how does it sound? Anyway we could get a picture of how you wired it up underneath.
Also are the still making these 4080 enclosures and who do I need to contact and when might I be able to get one.
Also might want a passenger side version depending on the sound quality.

Also how are you going to fix the remote turn on issue? I have been researching alot and I am going to go ahead and get a JL 500/v2 amp and 10" w6v2, but still trying to figure out how I need to wire up the remote turn on feature for the amp. Also trying to figure out when I might get my hands on a good looking box.

As far as sound is concerned, you really don't need more than the 250/1v2. I had to turn mine down a lot, as well as tweak the frequency. The people that installed mine listen to too much bass. Either way, I really don't think you need more than the 250/1 unless you're really switching all of your other speakers... it's pretty close to overpowering them as it is.
I have one of the older 250/1... which doesn't have the bass ****... It's just a matter of time until mine goes on ebay and I get the v2.
Ohh and sorry about not having pics of the whole step by step process... i've passed the years of running wires myself... I just had my Sound Advice people do it.

Here are my pics. First one is what I had installed....haha Sounds Great, and fits pretty flush, not sure if anyone else is having issues, but I noticed the part towards the back of the seat doesnt sit quite flush. I noticed someone elses pics, that show the same.

Install Complete
I just wanted to let you guys know that I finished my install tonight. I am using the following gear incase anyone wants to know, Boston GT24, Boston G5 (required a bit of creativity to fit in the 4080 box). So far I am very happy with the setup, the system required a bit of tuning to get it to sound right, but after a far amount of tweaking its good to go. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. Pictures of the install will follow shortly.
Thanks,
APLX

No. Not enought room to make it work. At least that's what I was told. But, I asked about the passenger side and the answer wasn't no, but rather that the G sedan production had to be next in line. Is there anybody else besides me eager for the matching passenger side enclosure for the coupe?
