I noticed the first defect in my new g37. I paired my phone with my car. Sometimes when people call the caller id is wrong. It picks randon phone numbers out of my phone book, or picks a previous dialed number.

Has anyone had this problem?

i have not. i'll be on the look out though.

what type of phone are you using? do you have another phone to test with? could be your phone model causing the problem.

i'd have to side with finagle on this one.. it's most likely a Phone -> g37 issue based on the phone. or you might have erroneous data in your contacts list for some reason. I've not had a problem so far with my iPhone

I have had the same issue once with a treo 755...
I only have two phone numbers actually programmed in the car and I havent taken the time to beam the numbers yet though...

Well sounds like its a phone issue.

It's the Treo. I had the same problem with my 700W when paired to my 06 330i. The only way the phonebook will upload is if you add the numbers to the speed dial list. But when someone calls you, the caller id is most of the time wrong.
