Question How to make CF sound as good as iPod

i just posted in another thread below that i use the "Rock" EQ setting on my iPhone (iPod). this punches up the highs and lows to perfect levels for me.

i have noticed that, accross the board, the iPhone MP3s sound better than the CF MP3s due to the EQ setting being not implemented on them.

is there a way to apply those EQ settings to the loose MP3s so i don't have to say, "well, the iphone sounds better, so i'll deal with hooking up the cable rather than just saying 'Compact Flash Play'"?

also, how the HELL do you get the CF mp3s to "Shuffle"??? i saw no option in the menus for this. i'm a shuffle fan.

You will probably have to use an audio/sound editor like Adobe Audition or Audacity to permanently fix an equalization setting to each mp3.
