Do songs purchased from Itunes play thorough Ipod connect?

Do songs purchased from Itunes play thorough Ipod connect?
I have a lot of DRM protected songs on my Ipod that I purchased from Itunes. Will these songs play via Ipod connect on the G37? I know a lot of devices that connect to the Ipod won’t play DRM protected songs, like the Xbox 360. Can anyone confirm if this works or not?

purchased songs from itunes will play off of your ipod or iphone through the g37s connector just fine.
