Just wanted to let you speeder know that the best radar detector in the world isn't going to help you if the officer knows what he is doing. I use radar and laser and catch speeders with radar detectors all the time. Have also caught a few with jammers. The last one (in a G35) WAS GOING 95 MPH IN A 65 ZONE. So beware if you come to Houston.

Nice shifters! What brand are you using? Why do you have two on the front? I have one up front centered in the grill and one in the rear. Do you have any in the rear?

Good choice. I had a Passport SRX on my 04 G35 and I liked it a lot. The dealer where I got my G37 recommended the K40 Calibre. Maybe it's because I was use to the Passport but I don't get as many preview beeps as I did on the Passport. Only a full on most of the time. If its a true hit it would probably be too late. I also noticed that when I was followed by an M45 with ICC my detector was screaming until I changed lanes.

Any update on the Invisicord installs on the G37s? I'm on the brink of ordering one, but it seems like its such a PITA plus now the plugs are coming out all the time? Anyone have any success?

Not a part number, it's a pin type, RS-232 is like a serial cable for PCs. But you are right, any RS-232 pins should do - they are all the same so they can fit into the ports on the PCs.
I had a little trouble getting the pin into the harness so I flattened the end of it with some smooth pliers -- no biggie. It is in there nice and snug now and works/looks great.

Pics of what? I didn't take any pictures of the construction but I could take a picture of the installed cable. It looks pretty much like an invisicord cable looks, except the connectors are smaller and the cord is custom cut to the exact length I wanted.
I'd be happy to post up a pic of my particular cable in my G37 if you are interested.

K40 Experience?
Whos' got experience with the K40...good / bad Based on the "concealment factor", etc, I don't mind spending the bucks if it's an effective system.
