Factory alarm impact SENSOR pic

Here are the pictures and how to adjust it.
It is a factory add-on vehical impact sensor to anti theft unit.
There is a adjustment from 1-11
1 is the lowest sensitive, 11 is super sensitive.
I was set on 10 and alarm gose off when truck passing by....too sensitive.
so i set on 7 now.
and here are also my proofe that there is an alarm impact sensor for new G37 09 model and GLENDALE infiniti service manager RANDY can suck it.
He told me there is not and he been working for 7 years in infiniti.
I was there for an hour and he wouldn't believe me.
And now he is WRONG!!!!DOMO

the panel under the passanger side dash. use your finger to pull down.
it just three clips to clip on.

Now look up the right in the side cover, the unit is right there.

Awesome! Thank you.

Any clue what it is set at from the factory? I doubt 10 because i can't get mine to go off if I tried. And yes, I have it according to my window sticker.

But just so everyone else know... Not all 09s have this. It is an option.

NO, the factory was originaly set to "5" and it was too low and never gose off if anything happen, so i set to 10 and it was super sensitive.
but now i set to 7 so when i light kick the tire it still go off the alarm.
your is set to 5 i'm 100% sure, thats a factory setting.
change to 7 or something higher. just twist it.

according to infiniti, there is no aftermarket sensor to add to new G37.
because they told me aftermarket sensor is not compatable to factory alarm.

it is not factory equipment.. you can either order it with your car or pick it up in the parts dept.

Right... No aftermarket sensor. But surely you could add an aftermarket siren somehow (would require wiring) to work when the Infiniti Vehicle Impact Sensor was activated.

No... this wasn't available until 09. From what I understand you can order the part for an 09 if you didn't get it as an option, but it will never work on an 08 because of the wiring differences.

Part number? I have an 09 but I don't think I have it because I don't remember seeing anything like that on the sticker.

I'll definitely pick one of these up from my parts dept though. Thanks for the heads up!
