injen intake
I talk to Injen and they said that their intake will be ready for sale in about 2 to 3 weeks.
14hp and 14lbs. rough estimate about 350 bucks.
They also said that there exhaust will be ready by mid May. No price yet!
i am going with them.

Yes there are about 3 threads with the same info... Its a very practiced response that injen tell us. 14 and 14 and ready at the end of Feb first on March...
Although I have not heard anything about 350. Ill be happy if thats the case! I was worried it would be 5 bills.
I am skeptical...but hopeful at the same time!

Can't see CAI giving us 14HP and 14LBS., would love it, but no way am I believing that one. Seems way, way, exagerated, Im thinking more along the lines of 3-5 HP. I'm sure it will sound pretty darn sweet though, as well as the exhaust. I had an injen exhaust in my Scion tc and loved the sound.

Im assuming this is your first Infiniti? Just to let you in on a lil scoop, I dont mean to burst you bubble tho.... Intakes dont give much gains, if any at all. They may advertise 14/14 gains, but trust me, those dynos are highly inflated and actually fabricated. What you'll see? Maybe 1-2 WHP, and thats if you dont lose any power.... Infiniti/Nissan intake designs are already extremely efficient. Intakes are simply for sound homie...dont believe me? Ask around, a true VQ veteran will readily tell you.

Oh and by the way... I have owned a VQ since 02 ... My intake gains were 3rd party dyno proven! but again that was on those lil ole VQ35s...
