Explain it to me if you don't mind.

I have seen this example and I feel confused..

The picture tells me + will push out the design or the spokes away from the center more... and - will push it back in close to the center.
Halla walla el 3ainawy haha It seems like you still confuse what offset exactly is.. you need to be able to picture this in 3D somehow haha

Wheel offset is basically how far the [wheel mounting surface] from the centerline of the wheel as shown in the pic below

If the offset is zero, it means the mounting surface is exactly in the center, to the right is positive and to the left is negative (negative offsets are not very common)

For a fixed wheel design, decreasing offset forcefully increases the lip size.

im gonna chime in a bit since the specs for SSR is a bit confusing

fitment without being too agressive and no rubbing issue:

20x9 +31 (39mm = 1.5 inch lip) HP= high pad clearance for akebono
20x10 + 30 (65mm = 2.55 inch lip) NR = Normal Disk clearance

If you don't mind a little more aggresive, i would run these with 245/35/30 and 275/30/20, maybe a 2 inch camber on the rear which is not too far off spec from OE (1.5 - 1.8 deg OE camber setting)

20x9.5 + 25(52mm = 2 inch lip) HP
20X10.5 + 30 (77mm = 3 inch lip) NR

SSR Wheels - SSR Professor MS1

click on the 20's for the wheel chart

Hope that helps, let me know if i can help ordering your wheels

Save yourself the headache and ask about the lip size before purchasing the wheel, some wheel brands have different spoke angles just to maintain the same lip size (concave wheels, convex wheels..)

wow, that's a big help bro. I called SSR last night and they told me that there is a guy from Amplified Motor Sport who can help you. I called and I think you were not there.

What a small world we live in you are just in myg37 and I didn't know it loool

Anyway, FYI I have the stock breaks caliper of the G37S which is silver and written on it Infiniti. I haven't done any modification on the caliper or anything on the car yet.

Do you have an example or any photos on these specs that you provided?
20x9 +31 (39mm = 1.5 inch lip) HP= high pad clearance for akebono
20x10 + 30 (65mm = 2.55 inch lip) NR = Normal Disk clearance

I think I'll need to roll the fenders if I use these specs right?
20x9.5 + 25(52mm = 2 inch lip) HP
20X10.5 + 30 (77mm = 3 inch lip) NR

For both specs do i have to do any modifications on the break calipers or any on the fender?

Lou, but my front brake kit isn't Akebono. It's just the OEM Infiniti Brake kit..

To install front wheels do I have to modify the front breaks or anything?

The OE non sport brakes are only a few mm smaller in width than the sport akebono's. They don't have a any other fitment that will fit better even with the non sport brakes in terms of the offset

Lou,

I have checked SSR Wheels specs: SSR Wheels Wheel Lineup

I can't find for the rear: 20x10 + 30 (65mm = 2.55 inch lip) NR

I was able to find +37 if that what you mean and it was just a mistake.

Is there any e-mail address for you in Amplified Motorsport that I can give to the shop in here so he can order the wheels for me through your shop?

Please confirm the rear for me so I can order right away.

Thanks man I owe you big time for your great help
