Upgraded to FR:245/40 & RR:275/35

Tires needed to be changed that's no joke, you must've seen what they looked like from my other AutoX thread. I got a good deal on Nitto N555 and bearing in mind the nature of my driving, I wouldn't want to spend any more on tires.

So I pulled the trigger on them, 245/40 & 275/35. To those who can't read my signature I'm still on stock wheels, dropped on Eibachs with 20mm spacers.

They fit fine. When I'm angling on speed bumps no rubbing issues however, (here's the sad part) My rear tires rub against the fendor when I drive over dips. I'm really concerned about rubbing on corners due to body roll. And no, coilovers aren't coming anytime soon. Maybe strut & aftermarket swaybars would help.

Anyone tried fendor rolling?

I'll post pix once when I get her cleaned. It rained right after the tires install.

The fenders are pre-rolled from the factory.

Are you sure theyre rubbing the fenders and not the liner on the inside?

Take off the spacers in the rear, get smaller ones, or get a rear camber kit.

It's my guess, I was running perfectly fine with 245s in the rear

hmmm..
smaller spacers = no more flush look
camber kit = more tire wear

why is camber kit = more tire wear?

because I'll be increasing my camber (which is already like -2deg) to avoid the rubbing = uneven wear!

Just figure out where it is rubbing, probably the liner, and trim it or remove it.

Get a paint pen or whiteout. Do a line across your tire, drive around, check where the paint/whiteout is missing from. You found where you are rubbing.

Hopefully it is just the lining, if not, you are going to have to get a smaller spacer or new tires.

You can either find the exact spot it is rubbing and cut out that area or remove the pop tabs and take out the whole lining. I believe it is actually 2 or 3 sections.
