Booked my trip to Costa Rica

Hello,

Has anybody been to Costa Rica? Me and my best friend are going after my business trip to Japan and if you guys have any suggestions on sights to see, what to do, I know about the Zipline, volcano & their yummy rum, any other suggestions? We're going to be there for about 2 weeks in a 6-star resort.

Thanks in advance.

I've never been to Costa Rica, but I would definitely love to go there. I apologize that I can't offer any advice, but have a great trip nonetheless!

Thanks Garnet!

We figured we'd hit all the beach places while we still look good in our bathing suits.

I see you're heading to Europe yourself. Have a great time! I heard Spain is beautiful. Only been to Germany and France (because of work )

When are you thinking of heading to Costa Rica? Oh, be sure and take lots of bathing suit pics!

I've only been to the southern parts of Spain (Seville, Malaga, Costa Del Sol, etc) but it definitely is beautiful. I plan on seeing more of the country when I return in October.

OOohh, nice! We're leaving on June 6th and coming back on June 21st. LOL @ the bathing suit, I have no clue how to post pictures in here. I've been wanting to post my stock Baby G here before I start modifying it, but just can't seem to find instructions.

Here's a site I often go to and post about my trips. A lot of people post on this site too to give their honest opinions, experiences, post pics, etc. It's www.tripadvisor.com, in case you and everybody else don't know about it.

I heard October is the best time to go to Europe. I'll be making my way there soon...hitting all of the warm places first while we're still young.

Okay, gotta finish packing for my Japan trip tomorrow... it's for work, not for fun... which means we work 18 hour days, 6 days a week.

Have a good week!

Peace.

Posting pics is quite easy, I'm sure there would be enough guys here to help you post your bathing suit pics.

Have a great trip to Japan and stay safe.

If you're going to Costa Rica, I really hope you like bananas. Seriously, it's like the banana capital of the world.

Depends what you wanna do...but there are places to go/see. A group of us spent a couple of days in San Jose, checking out the local sights and seeing Irazu Volcano, before taking a bus to the Pacific side of Costa Rica. Be forewarned, the bus ride can be nauseating mainly cuz you're descending down the mountains and the roads were twisty all the way down. Even the locals were getting sick, lol! We stayed in Manuel Antonio Nat'l Park, Montezuma, Jaco, Puntarenas...hmm, going blank. And we met a lot of European tourists...ahh, remember those cute German & Swedish girls .

Oh so were was I...uhm, oh and we lived off casado, which is a Costa Rican meal consisting of rice, beans, fried plantains, and some kind of meat, the whole time since it was cheap, filling, and damn good, lol.

If you can, head to Montezuma and Manuel Antonio. Enjoy your trip!

I went about 14 years ago with my family. It was awesome. Too bad I was only ~14 so I don't remember what the names of the stuff were.

You will have a blast!

Thanks ttrank... I am actually booking our zip line tour today with one of the large local tour guides. I thought maybe someone else may have some ideas to give me other than what I'd already researched. I can hardly wait to go to this trip. Next trip is Amsterdam.

Hey guys!

I'm off to Costa Rica! I'll post some pictures on here when I return... especially me going thru the zip line! I'm afraid of heights, but life's too short not to go zip-lining! ACK! and I hate bugs! I heard the bugs in Costa Rica are as big as a stapler, but hey, again, life's too short to be bugged by bugs! get it?

But the weather there is HOT and the I heard the beach in Jaco is beautiful!

But I am going to miss my Baby G though...

Peace and behave!
