Outdated inspection? Where do you usually go?

I just noticed that my inspection sticker has been expired since August.. I'm just wondering if you guys usually go to the dealership or a random shop. I usually just go to a random shop, but there shouldn't be any difference either way right?

I would go to s random shop before you get stopped or ticketed by metermaid.or do you have a cel light ?

Nah, no CEL light. There is a high chance that I would get stopped tho... cops know me. I was just wondering if there is anything different if I go to the stealership..

Just go to a random mechanic shop. All they do is scan the old one and answer a few questions and your done. Its only 10 bucks too.

I had last one on G done at dealer and it was free. Other cars I have done both ways. Depends on if I need other maintenance at the same time. It is a fixed price in Virginia no matter who does it.
