how do you change the fog light on a fx45?

one of my dad's fog light bulb's went out, anyone know how to swap a bulb?

Wow, no response yet? Well, I'll tell you there are two schools of though on doing this. One way, you remove the entire front bumper cover to get to the fog light. I don't prefer this method because I don't like taking my car apart if its not absolutely necessary. The second way is to remove the plastic liner underneath the front of the car, specifically the side with the fog light needing to be replaced. Then you reach in there and pull out the old light bulb. You didn't mention what year FX you dad has; the 03-05 have 9006 bulbs, the 06-present have H8 bulbs. Good luck.

thanks bro! his fx is a 03! 2nd one ever sold in cali actually (at least that's what dealer told us haha)

To change just the bulbs the lower engine cover is definitely the easiest way. For physical foglight housing changing the bumper off method makes things easy.

Be careful what bulbs you put in, some do not seal well and start to build up moisture. Double o ring or a breather hole may help this. Congrats on the FX.
